Division Chief – Administrative Support (DVC-WA)
In addition to General Duties, the Division Chief, Administrative Support, under the general direction and supervision of the Deputy Director, Document & Administrative, shall have the following responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the direction, guidance and training of the Branch Chiefs in charge of the Secretary Records, and Materials.
- Responsible for the Branch Chiefs in developing the policies and procedures needed to ensure the Secretary of Records, and Materials staff can efficiently and accurately fulfill their jobs.
- Responsible for the Branch Chiefs in developing training guides, PowerPoint presentations, FAQ documents and how-to guides to support the Secretary of Records, and Materials Officers.
- Responsible for the Branch Chiefs in the management and development of forms and resources to simplify and standardize the Secretary of Records, and Materials Officers staff positions.
- Responsible for the Branch Chiefs in evaluating and updating policies, procedures, forms and publications as needed.
- Have a scheduled meeting (on-line) with the Branch Chiefs on a monthly basis.
- Have a quarterly meeting with the DSO-MAs.
- Have a quarterly meeting with the DSO-SRs.
- Obtain a brief, monthly report from each Branch Chief
- Maintain the content on the Administrative Services Directorate website.
- Provide monthly activity reports to the Deputy Director, Administrative Services.
- Other duties as assigned.
