BRANCH CHIEF – PROJECT MANAGEMENT, (BC-TSP)
In addition to General Duties, the Branch Chief, Project Management, under the general direction and supervision of the Division Chief, Shared Services, shall have the following responsibilities:
- Work with Training Directorate members to initiate, plan, execute and close out projects.
- Provide weekly update to Division Chief Shared Services, and monthly update to other division chiefs regarding status of assigned projects.
- Schedule regular meetings with teams to obtain project status.
- Escalate as necessary, projects that are not meeting expect goals and timelines.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Working knowledge of project management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Expertise in teamwork, guiding group projects, and managing conflict.
- Ability to interact at multiple levels of the organization from basic members to commodores.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
