Branch Assistant-Promotions, (BA-BRPZ)
The Recreational Boating Safety Outreach Directorate is seeking candidates for multiple open positions to strengthen our promotion of recreational boating safety. Branch Assistants for Promotions will work under the general supervision and Direction of the Branch Chief, Promotions, and shall:
- Assist in promoting the objectives of the Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) Directorate.
- Collaborate with E, B, and V directorates to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Create promotional materials (posters, flyers, web, and social media content) for flotillas, divisions, districts, and Coast Guard units.
- Develop training and campaign toolkits to support local RBS outreach efforts.
- Coordinate with the Public Affairs Directorate to produce and distribute RBS publicity materials.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Desire and willingness to work in, and be part of, a mutually supportive environment focused on recreational boating safety.
- Desire to create promotional tools that positively influence recreational boating safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with digital and social media tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Auxiliary leadership levels.
- Knowledge of Coast Guard Auxiliary RBS programs preferred.
- Reliable email and internet access.
