BRANCH CHIEF – EDITOR, (BC-TSD)

 

In addition to General Duties, the Branch Chief, Editor, under the general direction and supervision of the Division Chief, Shared Services, shall have the following responsibilities:

  • Editing and reformatting of various Coast Guard Auxiliary training documents and manuals.
  • Working with subject matter experts to create new manuals and training documents.
  • Review of online training for accuracy of language and formatting.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Strong expertise in creation, editing and reviewing documents.
  • Expertise in recent versions of Microsoft Word and Publisher.
  • Ability to research Auxiliary programs and policies as needed.
  • Own a license for a recent version of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
